take it easy first two weeks, take your pain killers on time and get as much help as you can from family and friends. After the first 2 weeks you will be so much better.

Good luck :) x @nailah

For me who had to have an emergency C-section it was a blessing after hours of labour and nothing happening. It was about 45 mins in total of prep, delivery and closing the wound. I found it quite relaxing tbh and my partner looked hilarious in his scrubs 😂. I didn't find the pain afterwards too painful as your kept topped up with painkillers and monitored for a few days in hospital. When you leave though you do get given some injections to self administrate at home so if your screamish get your partner to do it. My scar afterwards healed up within two weeks and tbh it's not a bad scar I kinda like it. I'm having an elected c-section this time it's that fun haha.. nah jokes aside it can be a very lonely time in hospital them days you have to stay in only having visitors at set times and I did cry a lot but I found it very helpful especially trying to establish breast feeding which the nurses helped a ton! Xxx

Stock up on painkillers for when you get home! And my biggest advice is to take it very easy and very slowly when you do get up and move around cause it will be sore and you don't want to end up hurting yourself even more! The first 2 weeks were the toughest and then it gets easier. Have someone with you at home who'll help you, my partner did most of nappy changes for the first couple of weeks and made pretty much all my meals/ drinks, did all baby's bottles etc and I don't know what I would've done without him! And don't worry about the actual operation- it was way less scary than I imagined it would be! Feel free to message me if you like! ☺️ good luck! Xx
