Has anyone had to take amoxicillin during their pregnancy?? I have a bad ear infection and that is what the doctor prescribed but I'm worried about taking it.

It's the safest one to take if you aren't allergic

I'm a pediatric nurse, it's the most common abx used for children because of how safe it is and how long it's been around. Therefore unlike these new medications you don't have to worry about the side effects/birth defects of it years later. It is definitely safe to use.
