I need some inspiration. I don't see how I can work and go to school and take care of my son. If I go to work I won't have time for school and if I can somehow manage a full time job and school, I really don't see how I'd get to spend time with my son...has anyone done this? I want to hear from single and married ladies...
@mermaidmeshy did you feel like your mom was gone all the time or did you feel she was present in the home. Also how old were you two when she was working and going to school
@diegosmommy0213 yes my school has a daycare too! I could definitely do that. Do you know how much it costs?
If ur comforable with ur sister helping you and if shes willing to there shouldnt be a problem. And online classes are a good idea if u just wanna stay home plus idk but u dont need a specific time for online classes do u?
It does require help..daycare is so expensive. I have to probably do night or online classes or else have my sisters watch my son I just hope the classes I need are at a good time
Im not a single mom but i go to school and i take care of the baby. And my bf works so in the day i take care kf the baby and at night both of us go to school while my mom babysits for us.... Im on leave right now cause he was barly born but thats our plan right now its just my bf going to school n working and its been going fine... I think if u rather stick to school and ur baby then go for it honestly yea youll need money from a job but you can also work from home and other stuff.. Youll be syruggling now with school and money but once you finish school think of it as one more step of being succesful and not struggling anymore
Hey momma, message me if you want to know more. I have to much to say lol. I'm a single mom and I work and go to school.
My mom did it. She worked during the day. My sister and I were at school or day care, then home for dinner, homework, and bed, then she went to school, we had a babysitter. She had no life, but she did it and became a teacher.
@vark Not so much. She was always home from work when we were home. She made sure to work the same hours we'd be in school.
I know my mom did a lot of school work while we were visiting our dad on the weekends.
I feel like the few things she maybe missed, or all the time we all did homework together, it was worth it. Because she became a teacher, she paid off her student loans on her own, and retired from teaching just last year. She has enough money to live as comfortably as she wants.
I feel like watching my mom work hard like that, made me want to work hard too.
