Is it true that you can't conceive while breastfeeding? 🤔

@kylesmom16, well my baby was opposite in the hospital he sucked those supplements down and sucked boob but my supply came in like an ocean and he'd still take formula every now and then but it's probably because I only give him formula twice a day the rest is boob

My son refused formula to. I wasn't even going to breast feed but he would not for the life of him drink formula. In the hospital when he was born literally starved himself until my milk came in.. but Now that he is older he will take it I literally started this month. He only gets it at daycare if he drinks all the milk I gave them. So he will get only a few ounces maybe a day. I would just wait a few more months to let your milk stick if you get pregnant now the chances of drying are higher... I found out I was pregnant when Kyle was 5 months. The reason I thought something was wrong was because of my milk drastically dropping. But I have increased pumping times at work I do it literally every 2 hours on the dot. I will make him 5 ounces that day. Then again some moms are different the hormones don't change the milk at all. My mom chat room of just had a baby and pregnant again all of us lost supply or is to the point of losing it. And on top of this my ob literally told me to start weaning him off because it induces labor. I am going to chance that though... I want to tandem feed and want my son to get as much breast milk as possible

If you do become pregnant beware of your milk decreasing a ton. As @momofdeuce, stated she lost milk. I am at the point where I have to supplement feed. I used to be able to pump 15 ounces at a time... now I barely get 1 ounce

I actually don't anymore. I did for 5 months but we struggled Because my supply decrease & my son was just frustrated at the breast I found out I was pregnant when he was 3 months

Lol no, you can ovulate without a period. Breastfeeding can be used as birth control under certain circumstances by even then I wouldn't trust it.
