How long did u moms take off work without the maternity leave pay?

Depending on if my baby stays long in nicu. My Dr wants me out of work now but I'm fighting it because I only get 12 weeks and only 8 of them are paid

@success876 my job I believe will let me have however long of time I need off. Its a franchise, not a corporate company yet, so I just have to talk to the general manager.

@success876 at the most 6 weeks. Nothing more. Hoping for less. But I might have to have a c section, so that's why I say up to 6 weeks.

With my first I didn't have to work so I took 1.5 off bit with this baby I'm saving everything bit I don't get paid maternity leave. I'm only taking 4 or 5 weeks if I can

@success876 I'm saving everything I can. I'm hoping I'm not out for very long and that I can heal fast and make money quickly again. After bills, I just put everything else into savings.

I was off for 4 weeks then worked 6 months and then decided to quit and be a stay at home mom.

I'm not going to have any maternity leave pay unfortunately cuz I haven't been with the company for a year yet.
