Birth story: I went in at 4cm on 6/14/2017 to be induced at 6am 😊 My strep b was negative so they started me on pitocin right away. They told me to give it about an hour once the pain gets bad and ask for the epidural then. Around 8:30 my doctor came In and broke my water and 20 minutes later I was in excruciating pain crying and moaning so they rushed in and got everything set up for my epidural and about 40 minutes later I got it. They kept coming in and turning me and then checked me around 4pm and I was a 10 but we waited a little bit to see if she'd move down then at about 4:40 they cut the epidural off 😒 I started practice pushing and they got the doctor in and at 5:37 My little bean was born! She had to get taken over to the extra nurses right away because she pooped in the womb and they had to make sure she didn't swallow any so sadly daddy didn't get to cut the cord 😔 The doctor did end up having to cut me(2nd degree) and I felt the needle go in when she gave me the numbing medicine to stitch me up. But when they brought my baby over to me and put her on my chest everything was worth it. 😍
