At least put sunscreen on his scalp because it can burn. If you have the spray sunscreen it won't be so greasy lol

Sunscreen is not recommended for babies under six months of age. A hat and lots of shade will be your best bet.

It's a pain in the ass, but you can bring a pack n play and put an umbrella over it for napping.

Oh yea, as long as he is not in the sun a lot. Have a hat on him too. My boys went to the beach as babies.
