I can't believe this is happening.
After more the 4 of him(dad) being sober, today he drank. Not just one beer, he had 12. Idk why and I pray thinly for today and that it doesn't continue 😢
@_maggee, I am sorry to hear you are struggling with this and I have had an experience like this too. Al Anon is a group that can help those affected by someone's drinking and there should be meetings in your area. I encourage you to look it up!
My mom is an alcoholic too she started her alcoholism when I was 8 and got sober when I was 12 up until I turned 18 and then started drinking again very heavily because I got engaged and she didn't approve because she doesn't like my husband even tho he is a good man and she's been drinking very heavy for 3 years so far and on top of that she is taking pills so she's a pill head and a alcoholic and it breaks my heart everyday because I refuse to be around her when she is like this because you never know what she'll do she is a very abusive drunk so I know how you feel it's heart breaking and we just have to hold strong in our faith and pray that God will protect them and help them and so far the Lord has protected my mother in many different situations
