I have to take my son to another urologist. They want to circumcise him because we cant see his pee hole yet.
@tiinii, the foreskin is supposed to be attached to the head of the penis.
Finding a doctor supportive of your decisions would be best. It's going to be crappy for everyone if you see a doctor that tries to sway you against what you think is best.
@kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom hmm maybe I'll just stop going to him and not worry about it. My sons parts wor K just fine
I was fully under the impression that the doctor who thought my son (Aarem) had the issue was an idiot. It's very possible that the doctor is being overly cautious.
See, that seems backwards to me though, because when I was getting my son circumcised they had to stop the procedure because they thought he had the issue. They wouldn't finish it until I got a second opinion. I think if he's peeing okay and it doesn't seem to cause discomfort for him you should be able to get a third opinion. Seems odd to me.
@marliemacieowensmomma I will. I don't want my son going through the pain
You're not supposed to see his urethral opening. If he is peeing fine it's okay. Get a second opinion.
@kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom Idk what to do.I don't want him circumcised.
My 2 year old is having his revised and my 6 month old is getting circumcised on Monday.
I'm sorry. I can't remember what the term is, but they thought my first son had a pee hole issue as well and it turned out to be nothing.
@tiinii, oh! Okay sorry I misunderstood, I thought you meant your son was not circumcised
