I KNOW CASTOR OIL IS FROWNED UPON TO START LABOR & IS NOT RECOMMENDED. I am curious if any mommas on here have tried it & their experience with it?
It worked for my first two babies but my son was stubborn. Regardless all of my babies were born with no complications
@anap1012 I'm pretty sure my early labor has started and as of now I'm just hoping to make it at least one more week. I'm 34 weeks today. My babies come early too.
My contractions were so close together and super painful with my son but I wouldn't dilate past 3cm so they induced me. I've been contracting hard and consistently for days now stuck at 2cm 😫😫😫 it's so frustrating she's too comfortable
@2-mommies, I know what you mean. I never rush my babies out. They come out early lol at 37/38 weeks. I just really want this baby to be born on my moms birthday cause my daughter shares my mil's birthday. But if that doesn't happen it's ok. I'd love to make it to 39/40 weeks
@anap1012 I saw the same thing you're talking about and thought about trying it. I'm sure it's more to do with the eggplant than how it's cooked. Also pineapple is supposed to stimulate your bowels and that can cause contractions also. However, keep in mind that none of these things will help aid the process if dilation hasn't already begun. Try walking a lot. Gravity + weight of baby on the cervix will help it to soften and do its job. At the end of the day baby decides when baby wants to come. Trust I understand frustration and needing baby here by a certain time. I need mine out by July 23 or else my wife will miss the birth. @jademarie_x0
@jademarie_x0 I read nipple stimulation only works if you do each nipple for an hour three times a day. That seems like a lot of damn nipple play
thats how my Dr was with my first . I went over my due date by 6 days & they wouldn't talk about induction until after 41 weeks . lol . I think thats how most Drs are tho . my dr now tho discusses it after 39 weeks if its not your first .
@jademarie_x0, girl I'm serious lol I saw the recipe on Pinterest! I want this baby out on my moms birthday 😂
@sims.krista, lucky 😭 they won't even discuss inducing me until 41weeks. @anap1012, I could use some lasagna right now 🤣🤣🤣
I've read that certain foods can make you go into labor. Like eggplant lasagna or some smoothies. I'd rather try that than castor oil honestly. This restaurant near me sells that lasagna and they almost guarantee it will make you go into labor. If not you can go back for a free meal 😂
nipple stimulation has done nothing for me this pregnancy lol ive tried all the old wives tales & she's not budging . I'm beong induced Tuesday lol
@sims.krista, nipple stimulation is really supposed to help with contractions I just really would like to encourage my waters to break 🙃
@jademarie_x0 I tried it with my son before I knew that could happen & it didnt work lol
@sims.krista, I read that too. I'm too pussy to try it I was just wondering others experiences 😭
it could cause the baby to have a bowel movement in the womb & if he inhales it he could die.
@tiffanyf, ima let you know. I'm also gonna hook up my breast pump & try that. I hate my nipples to be touched but I'm desperate 😭
@tiffanyf, my buela told me to boil garlic with salt and drink that to help break water. That's what I'm gonna try since it's natural. 🤞🏽@kitcatmeow8383, I know that's what I've read! So scary tbh
@jademarie_x0, I tried it just because she said it worked w her .. but obviously my sons not ready to come out lol
@jademarie_x0, I filled the cap 3 times , mixed w OJ & my mom said she took 2 table spoons mixed w OJ ..
@tiffanyf, how much did you take? &I how much did your mama take? @juliaschade41, I'm the same way I'm so curious though 😫
@jademarie_x0, nope
