Ladies my family has had nothing but bad luck.. we've lost everything our house, sadly our puppy, now we have to sell our new car we worked so hard for. Everything ha shone down hill since my fiancé lost his job. I pray he gets into the military like he wants and I start making good money after I start my job on Monday. Thankfully I have family who invited us to Minneapolis to enjoy ourselves and we did. It was good to destress and relax and just enjoy ourselves. We need a blessing that's for sure ❤️
@rrcl9812 @mamayoung thank y'all so much I will be definitely doing the same
@jalexa1432, I'm so sorry to hear that. I guess I can't complain much I wasn't homeless yet. When my fiancé and I get through we defiantly be able to conquer anything
I was homeless for two years, living off the charity of friends and family since no one could really house me and I was escaping a bad situation. It is so hard, I couldn't imagine with a family, I had my dog and cat (they were my only rocks in the whole thing and I couldn't get myself tolet them go).
It does get better. Keep your head held high and your eyes on your goals. You will make it.
And when your fiance joins the military make sure to write as often as you can. Basic is a lonely world in a bubble and letters are priceless for motivation. When I was enlisted I had a battle buddy that's family became homeless. At ait she was able to get her husband and three children into housing on base while she finished her training. You have to be married for those benefits but they are definitely there if needed.
You and yours are in my thoughts.
@rica85, I'm praying for you! It's a struggle trying to do what's best for you family. We're living at my moms again which makes me feel like a failure but it's what was best.. I just hope things go uphill from here for you and I! Message me if you ever need to talk things through!
@mamayoung I just wanted to say it's worth keeping your head up. I went through a lot but it led me to where I am now, with my husband done and future baby . Definitely worth the hard work.
