Little Olivia will be one month old tomorrow. (And my birthday was on the 14th!) She wasn't supposed to be born for another 3 weeks. She's doing very well despite her cleft palate. She's now up to 5 lbs 1.4 oz. (Birth weight was 3 lbs 9 oz) she had an eye appointment today because she has Sticklers Syndrome. Her retinas look great, but she is for sure near-sighted and will need glasses.
We are getting used to being parents, she's been home with us less than 2 weeks. We finally feel like actual parents instead of visitors. I started to get PPD symptoms, had my anxiety medication reevaluated. Some days are still tough. My husband is taking his parental leave now, it helps to have him here. He's so great with her. And also doesn't forget me either!

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
