Long post!! my friends asked me to post on the mum pages im on as she doesnt know what else to do...I have a 4.5week old baby who does not settle despite being fed, changed, cuddled etc,He's taking 4oz formula every 3hr (breastfed 1st 2weeks)but he doesn't sleep much and the 3hrs between feeds he might only sleep for 1.5 to 2hr max the rest he just cries but it's not a pain cry it's a frustrated cry like over tired when their trying to fight you.spoke with health visit as I thought maybe his milk isn't thick enough so maybe try hungrier milk but they said no 4oz every 3 he was ample enough but it's like 4 isn't filling him but give him 5 and he's sick,,I'm not a 1st time mum and I know each child is different but I really don't know what's wrong or what to do,he just seems frustrated all the time. Any suggestions???
Thank you ladies any suggestions would be greatly appreciated 😃
@graciesmummy definitely try hungry baby milk, my little boy was the same at that age and I changed to hungry baby milk and there was a huge improvement!xx
Neurological problems,or if that after food Not digested protein constantly on a pain , feeling sorry for baby,Baby need to be checked with the doctor
@graciesmummy prob the same reason my doctor and health visitor didnt when i asked them about 10 times. Im not saying it is 100% that but its worth exploring differmt options x
She says how come health visitor or breastfeeding coordinator not mention reflux when she told them? X
You could always suggest it to doc mention infant gaviscon.
It could be silent reflux it can burn their throat when feeding and they can be Really unsettled. Doesnt matter if its formula or breastfeeding x
My friend says he was the same when he was breastfeeding and hes frustrated when hes feeding too @laurabump27 x
If he cries after feeds it could be silent reflux they don't have to be sick to have it. If he cant settle it could be that... also it can make them seem hungry because when they drink it breifly soothes the burn.
Reflux??? And 4 oz is well enough. Especially if he is sick 5. Babies tummy is so small still. X
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
need suggestions....
So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
Religion Conspiracy/Theory
**This is not to bash peoples religion and beliefs but to talk about our own theories and ideas** I would like to discuss a certain topic that came to mind after talking to my SO. I know some of you ladies like a good conspiracy talk so i would like to have a good discussion and hear thoughts of others. So back story my SO friends got very offended when he mentioned not believing in god or religion and it got me thinking. Is religion a failing form of goverment cont...

My husband and I aren’t exactly strangers when it comes to relationship challenges 💞. We have been together for 14 years and married for eight, so we’ve definitely gone through some growing pains as we navigated a long-distance relationship in college and our first year living together as a married 👫 couple.
But nothing has challenged our relationship quite like our first year as 👪 parents .
Before you have your first child, you have these grand ideas of what it will be like. There’s more slee...
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer.
My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...
My little girl was so bad from 3 weeks until 5 weeks and we then put her on hungry baby milk and she was a much more happy baby! She's not fatter than any other baby and seems a lot more content on it. Hope this helps x
