Anyone else's LO have a hernia in there belly button. If so when did it go away & how?

My daughter has one but they told me is not a problem and it probably go back in around 5,6, or 7

My babygirl has one and we are waiting for her surgery date to get it removed :( hers hasnt gone away on its own

Can it rupture or anything? It looks so painful even though I know it's not.
