With c section how long before u bond with baby I wanna breastfeed

The hospital I deliver at, you get your baby immediately after delivery. Baby is with you from delivery until discharge, unless there are problems.

Usually witch sections you get them when your in recovery. So maybe an hour or so after they are born. You will get to see him/hold him (kinda) while your on the table. Just let them know you plan to BF and they can work with you! Also, ask for a lactation consultant. They can help A LOT too

I had to get put under so I was out for a couple hours & then got to see my baby 🙂 I've been breastfeeding for 14 months now so luckily not seeing him right away didn't effect my supply too much!

@shelbiw91, I had my husband hold her cheek to mine as soon as they cleaned my daughter up and I gave her a kiss and told her I loved her. He stayed with her all the way from that point until they brought her to me in recovery and I nursed right away with no problems 👍
