Tired of those surveys made by high school kids? 'Have you ever kissed someone? Missed someone? Drank alcohol?

Here are 34 questions for Grown Ups:

1. What bills do you hate the most?

Medical Bills! Why are we the only developed nation that needs to deal with this?

2. Where was the last place you had a romantic dinner?

Le Petit Cochon

3. What do you really want to be doing right now? I'm doing it-drinking coffee that's still hot and playing on my phone because kiddo is still napping.

4. How many colleges did you attend? 1-UC Santa Cruz

5. Why did you choose the shirt you have on? It's my favorite lounging shirt and I just did laundry last night so it's clean, it's almost always the first shirt I pick after laundry day.

6. Thoughts on gas prices?

Still better here in WA than they ever were when I was in CA.

7. First thought when the alarm goes off in the in the morning?

I don't use an alarm anymore, just my son and his wake-up shrieking. But the thought is "nooo, not yet" which is the same thought I had when I did use an alarm. I'm really not a morning person.

8. Last thought you have before going to bed?

"Please sleep through the night, shhhh nice sleepy baby, please"

9. Do you miss being a kid?

No, not really.

10. What errand/chore do you despise doing the most? Washing bottles/dishes. It just never ends, as soon as you're done someone needs a glass or a fork or a bottle, it just goes on forever.

11. Up early or sleep in?

If I had my way I'd sleep in, but instead I have a 1yo so I'm up early.

12. Found love yet? Yep!

13. Fav lunch meat? Salami

14. What do you get at Walmart every time you go? I have never lived close enough to a Walmart to go regularly.

15. Beach or lake? Beach

16. Is marriage outdated? I don't think so, but I can see how others might. Makes no difference to me how folks choose to define their relationship.

17. What famous person would you like to have dinner with?

Ruth Bader Ginsburg

18. Ever crashed your vehicle? Nope

19. Ever had to use a fire extinguisher for its intended purpose? Yes, but only once.

20. Strangest place you've brushed your teeth? I guess outside in camping trips, I don't think I've brushed my teeth in too many strange places.

21. Somewhere you've never been but want to? New Zealand

22. At this point in your life would you want to start a new relationship? No, I'm happy where I am

23. How old are you? 32

24. Do you have a go-to person? Yes, but she lives in another state. She's the only thing I miss about CA.

25. Are you where you want to be in life? Yes. It's not always perfect, but I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

26. Growing up what were your favorite cartoons? Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Batman The Animated Series, Animaniacs

27. What about you do you wish you could change? I've been working on being more honest about when things are bothering me, rather than trying to hide it and letting it fester. It's easier to be kind and constructive if you address issues when they start rather than waiting until you just can't deal with it anymore.

28. Looking back at high school, were they the best years of your life? No, but they weren't the worst, either.

29. Are there times you still feel like a kid? Yes-yesterday when I found out the Asian Market by our house started importing my favorite Japanese candy that I haven't had in years.

30. Do you have a house phone? Nope.

31. Was there a hangout spot you went to as a kid? The elementary school across the street from my house, my best friend and I used to spend hours roaming it, well into high school. We used to get chased out by the on-site caretaker all the time.

32. Were you the type of kid you'd want your children to hang with? Yes.

33. Do you tell stories that start with "when I was your age?" No, it always sounds condescending and no one wants to be spoken down to like that.

34. What do you wish you could change about your life? At this moment I wish I had done a better job training my dog not to bark out the window at every single person, animal, or random piece of trash that blows by. This seemed like a great protection plan until my kiddo was born, now I wish I'd just bought an alarm system and taught to dog to be sooooo quiet.

@lilbensmomma, A good friend of mine used to live in Watsonville. It's nice, far enough from Santa Cruz to avoid the summer tourist mess but close enough to drive in and enjoy it when it's emptier. I miss that area!
