So I'm 12 weeks pregnant and they diagnosed me with gestational diabetes and I go Thursday to see what kind. Is this gonna harm the baby? I'm just really scared that I'll have it really early or something go wrong. This is my first pregnancy.

Yes if they look to big c section. And won't have much room to move i also have 2 utreses

Don't be too scared honestly stick to what the dietician says and you'll be fine! I had it and Carson was born normal sized! Watch carb intake but don't cut them out baby needs carbs to grow

You just have to watch your sugar and carb intake. Gestational diabetes can lead to a bigger than normal baby which can lead to complications during delivery. There are some other risks but i think thats the biggest one
@mommysbabies, okay thanks! He doesn't seem to concerned about it. My mom had it with my brother she said it runs in the family and she went full term with him and he was fine.
Just stick to what dr says and baby will be fine you may have a bigger baby just eat healthy and stay way from soda
