Does anyone feel upset after leaving the pediatrician when you find out your son/daughter isn't at the milestone they're supposed to be at yet? Noah was born two weeks early which may or may not have something to do with it.. but tomorrow's his six month check up and I get anxious leading up to it bc I know he can't sit up yet on his own or do some other things.. I know every child grows at their own pace but this really bothers me for some reason not upset with him but the fact I get asked and I know in my mind he isn't.. advice?

Don't stress about it. My son was 3 weeks early and he is still pretty little and he doesn't crawl yet or do some of the other things it shows his age should be doing. He is 8 months but I know he will get there when he is ready. Just take one day at a time and enjoy every little thing he does now!

He is so stinking cute . Every child develops at their own pace . I'm sure him being born early contributes to it. Don't beat yourself up. He will get there soon!

I myself am a perfectionist so this is a hard lesson for me along with my thinking my house always has to be clean 💁🏼 thank you all for your input I will try to relax for his appt tomorrow appreciate this site so much

All babies are different. I wouldn't worry too much. My son didn't start sitting on his own until 7 or 8 months.
