Been on Facebook following comments on a story about a mother choosing to supplement to give herself me time, and I am personally shocked by all the hate she got! So, PSA: you are NOT less of a mother if you take care of yourself. Your children deserve the best version of you, as well as the knowledge that becoming a mother is only one part of your identity. Sure, we all make sacrifices as parents, but you should NEVER sacrifice yourself so wholly that you begin to resent your family or yourself. Sometimes, mommas have to put themselves first for the whole family to be happy. #endrant

@brbsmomma plus why should we be unhappy to have happy healthy kids? Can't you and your kids be happy?.. of course you can! I'd eye roll at those who shame against self health
@walking_mombie, same! No reason we should be so divided when we all have the same goal: healthy happy kids
