She will just want to know a bit of information and whether there is any allergies, diseases in the family etc. She will also do a some blood tests and blood pressure. Your height and weight xxx

Ok so its a very first one mine lasted 20 min. They check who you are, name, DOB , if you had any children, ur partners details. They ask you where ur originally from and they do an extra test(at a later stage) if ur from Eastern Europe(my case). Have you collected Early Pregnancy Pack from my GP before the midwife appointment. They ask u a few questions on that

Hey, expect she will go over paperwork with you. Scan i needed to arrange myself. Different hospitals operate differently. Is this your very first appointment or is it a first antinatal appointment?

So basically I need to stop worrying and just be excited for my first scan!? Will she arrange my first scan!?x

They'll get a pee sample and just advise on what to do/ what not to do during pregnancy, talk about blood tests to assess whether you're high/ low risk for baby to have certain conditions, and just give you a bunch of info/ leaflets for you to read through x

If you havent been bleeding etc things should be fine, but the midwife cant say if the baby is fine as she just checks on you. unless you tell her somethink is wrong then she'll tell you nothing to worry about etc. X

I want to know how the babies doing!? Will I not find out until 12 weeks!? I will be 9 weeks when I see my midwife xx

My first midwife I had all my bloods take and info put into my pack x

She will just go threw stuff with you, like show you leaflets etc. Nothing to worry about just a chat :D x
