QUESTION: who takes care of the family/household. Like cleaning, gets the mail, bills, cooking,…

I do most cleaning, cooking, bathing baby, putting baby to bed, and shopping. Husband pays bills, takes trash, cleans litter boxes, gets big kid in shower, bed, and to school.

But stuff gets interchanged from time to time. I stay home, he works full time.

@joanna.davis thats great he helps. My partner helps when he "feels" like it. With the cleaning cooking and kid stuff. But thats not alot of the time. Pretty much gettin getting to me

@nicolem10021 sometimes my husband can be a little inconsiderate, but mostly we have a good balance.

Have you had a conversation with him about it?

@alyssa5792 i know what you mean. I prefer how the house is too but help would be nice. Even asking if i need something done would be. When you get up at 7 and dont stop till 10:30 sometimes 9 its exhausting. (esp while preg lol)

@joanna.davis thats good and yes. I sound like a broken record and it seems like every few days i talk to him about it and ask for his help a little more or at least to help keep the house clean or something lol. he usually agrees and says im always on the go and its great and all that but i need help more then anything. Although i do like the appreciation i think relationships are team work. i say things like this all the time and nothing ever changes. Its like we didnt even have a conversation about it

@nicolem10021 I would assign a few jobs specifically to him, and tell him you expect him to take responsibility for those tasks. And tell him if he can't do those things for you, you're going to hire some part time help to lighten your load 🙄
