I have figured out my current nursing issue with my daughter. Bc i have it even when im not engorged. Its not that im not producing enough (as everyone told me) and over all its not a latching issue. The problem is she wants breast milk, but hates being on the breast. For the time i do get her to latch, the latch is perfect. She stops after a while though and refuses both of them. Shell only finish eating if its from a bottle. Ill keep trying with the nursing once i get her home tomorrow, but as of now it looks like she just hates the idea of being latched.

@bethany_swaney stay strong momma since she was early your milk might just be slowly coming in. There's also stuff u can buy called milky mama to help if you want produce more.
@bethany_swaney, also wanted to mention that since she's used to the bottle and slightly premature, maybe a medela nipple shield would be a good transition for you! My daughter used one for months before she was comfortable nursing without it
@bethany_swaney, agree with @shayla.galloway, no matter how you feed your daughter she's fed! And wic is great, I was on it and if you continue to need to supplement they should help with that as well!
@shayla.galloway i want her to latch, which she does sometimes, but she seems to like the bottle more right now bc shes been in the nursery since right after she was born and so thats what shes used to having. She hates formula, but hates being hungry even more. Shes on a 2oz diet and if i pump i cant get more than an oz out. So im having to subsitute like they want me to, bc ive noticed after being with her for 6 feedings for the first time since shes been born that if i dont give her the full 2 oz that she continues to cry from being hungry bc thats what shes used to eating.
It took me and my daughter 2 months to get good at nursing. But hey if you want to pump to give her breast milk I don't see why not.
@brbsmomma i hope so, but just in case i gotta get her on WIC. Theyll give me and electric pump bc she was premature.
@bethany_swaney, then I'm sure once she's home you'll see a big improvement! I bet being in the NICU is strange to her so her bottle became her comfort. I'm sure you two will have it down in no time💜
How do you feel when she's latched? Babies are sensitive to your emotions so if you're anxious or uncomfortable that may affect her. Best of luck to you!

Dad's FB Video!!
Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!
@brbsmomma thank you. I have some people telling me to chose breast milk or formula, but the way i take it some breast milk is better than none, and that shes not to young for subsitution for what i cant give her when i pump bc thats what shes used to anyway. I will try the nipple sheild though once i get time to get it, and ill try the other stuff as well. Just trying to take it one step at a time and get WIC bc i know that until she latches or until i can pump more she wants more than i can give so ima need WICs help with whatever they can help me with so i know shes fed. @shayla.galloway
