Ok so I don't know what you guys think but my mom and sister want to plan my baby shower and that's fine, but I want to be heavily involved in the planning. This is my second pregnancy and I barely planned the first so I want to plan it the way it is in my head.
My boyfriend doesn't like the place they picked because it's in the middle of nowhere and my mom is constantly picking a fight with me about it. It's a long way away but it's stressing me out because she doesn't want to do it because I'm being ungrateful but I just want to help plan!!
I guess I am being Ungrateful but before she been decided to throw it me and my boyfriend have been kind of planning where we want to have it and stuff. I'm just frustrated and probably blowing this all out of proportion. What do you guys think?

I wouldn't say ur being ungrateful at all it's okay to voice ur opinion because it's ur baby shower! These things are always stressful. Maybe you can assign certain ppl certain jobs for the shower that's what I did.

@rockie24, right now it's a big fight over the venue because my boyfriend has a lot of family and I haven't checked it out yet but the pictures don't make it look very big and my boyfriend does not like it. He originally wanted it at his parents house but i don't know. We find out the gender in a couple days so we will see

First question... Who's paying for the shower and venue? If she's paying than tell her how you feel but back off. Its always nice to have 2 shower. Have a pamper shower so you can do things your way. Its always more than one way to skin a cat.

@takesma, she's paying for the venue for sure, I don't know about paying for everything but I could save her money by doing it at his parents house. But her concern is that last time we had my sons 1st birthday party there my family showed up really early and his family is Spanish so they tend to run late with everything. (It's a joke they have) but it's really true they run at least an hour behind and his family was just like wow why are they here so early and my sister said if it's there she's not going to be able to decorate the way she wants but idk. I'd be willing to do it at the place she wants but it's my boyfriend she has to convince
