Jace just turned 1 year old. My question is for the potty training mama's. I've read 18+ months to try and start. I know a lot depends upon if the child is ready. When did everyone else start and how? Best and worst potty? Tips and tricks are welcome!
Yeah I don't think he's quite ready yet. He has given me some clues but he really doesn't care a whole lot yet when he goes in his diaper. @stosha717
My son is 13 months old. He has started tugging at his diaper- and then a couple minutes later he poops. So i got the potty chair out today- just to get him used to it and he started grunting- I put him on the potty to poo and he actually peed. So I clapped for him and gave him a prize and hope we're well on our way. My mother had me and my sisters completely potty trained by a year and a half... but it just takes consistency. When your little one is ready you'll know.
@jacesterlingsmommy, my nephew took longer to potty train- I've also heard boys are harder to potty train not sure if it's true or not for our sake- I hope not lol. By no means do I think he'll be out of his diapers anytime soon. But today it was kind of a at the right place at the right time type of thing.
