Who has had a colposcopy while pregnant ? I have one Friday and I'm kinda freaking out

Well I on the other hand refused the colposcopy procedure, it’s your right as a patient to wait until your baby is born.

@momofthree2016, wow that was very early. Yeah she said the earlier the better. I just get nervous didn't really explain why

I had to have it done around 13 weeks pregnant. I was freaking out but I had no choice it had to be done! It does make you cramp and you will spot or bleed a bit. If your dr is saying you need it done than just put ur trust in ur dr hun

@batsymommy, Not to me, it wasn't. It was just uncomfortable. Be prepared to bleed for about 2 weeks though.

@batsymommy, I'd have them wait until baby is born to be on the safe side. I had one after my daughter had been born.

@theinkedmommy, what the doc said was is ones I was in second trimester they could do it as well as one after baby is born

@batsymommy, Why are they doing that while you're pregnant? Can't they wait?
