Figured out how im gonna consume my placenta starting tomorrow. Its the best and most effective way to consume it. Im going to eat it raw. You wash it really good and then you cut it into small pieces and swallow each piece whole. They said doing this helps heal the imediate wounds from the birth. For what i dont consume tomorrow ill put portions in small bags and put those bags in my mini freezer until im ready for them and use up one bag each time i consume it until its gone. Its gonna gross everyone out at my house except me. I need to get better for Martha. Looking up other health benefits for this method. Ill let you know what i find.
@meme2393 im hoping shell be able to actually eat by then. Shes still breathing to fast. They cant give her anything ive pumped bc of risk of her choking. So right now shes still on the IV
@bethany_swaney, give it time for your milk to fully come unit will take about a full week
@meme2393 i just want to be able to feed her right now bc thats all im allowed to do but my milk supply is still so low...
@bethany_swaney, you need to stay calm and strong for her. Don't let her sense how you are feeling. Just think about her here, she is alive and safe that is all that matters. It's nobody's fault at all, it was her time to be born that is all. Everything happens for a reason. I had my daughter a month early but she wasn't in nicu but she almost had to go but so I understand how you feel about her coming early. Just think about the positives not the negatives
@meme2393 yeah...i started crying when i saw her and she started crying...
@bethany_swaney, you didn't screw up! Don't look at it that way! It will just make you feel down and you need to be strong for her. Babies can sense when you are stressed
@meme2393 thats the main thing im looking at now is that it could help my milk supply. Anything for my little Martha...after all i kinda screwed up to begin with.
There is a place near me that works with placenta and they make smoothies out of it as well and will capsule it as well but it's like 300$ so I never did it. So maybe try a smoothie and you can also find other ingredients to put in the smoothie to boost milk supply
@mrs.collins its ok. I had so much going on right after she was born and some how still remembered to ask them to keep it.
Oh hahaha im sorry i thought you were saying or thought i was judging you hun.. Im most definitely not <3
I even read u can put them in a "pill form" by a company and its just as effective
@mrs.collins i wasnt being judgemental. I was jusst simply saying im not even sure how its gonna go, but i am interested in if the unproven claim benefits will actually work/be there or not. I understand that some people cant do it or stomach it, but i wasnt saying anything bad against that. It was a last minute desicion for me as well. I made the choice on a whim. Thats why i said its going to be a journey for me, bc i didnt actually think about it. I just decided right after i had her that i was gonna try.
Umm i know exactly what great benefits ot brings THANK YOU very much!! I SAID i simply COULDN'T do it "props" to you!! Wth is judgemental about that?!?
@mrs.collins lol second degree tears from this baby. Anyway, theres a few "untested" claims about other things it could help with so ima end up judging weather those are true or not as well.
@adamsgurl do you like oysters? Bc eating it raw and just swallowing it would be like that. With it easily sliding down youd hardly even taste it.
@meme2393 im still at the hostpital until later today so what ive been doing is taking it to the nursery and theyre storing it
