Definitely go to the hospital if you felt water trickle down your leg. Because my water "ruptured" (was leaking) on a Saturday night. I didn't go until Sunday morning, and my son was born Sunday evening. But we had to stay at the hospital for an extra day or two to make sure I didn't have an infection from my water rupturing and having waited to go to the hospital.
