HELP! Okay so I am due July 8th. I'm supposed to be moving to Florida June 10th by car not plane. I feel like my baby will come before her due date I'm just worried about insurance. I was going to cancel my insurance here Friday and start my insurance application for Florida online Friday they usually have a grace period where they pay for any hospital visits up to 90 days which will be 3 months after my daughter is born. If I start the process for my application for welfare for insurance Friday is it likely that I'll get my Insurance before 3 months pass?

Keep your current insurance and reapply for Florida. Once you get Florida the pa will need to be cancelled

State aid doesn't transfer. Your taking the right steps. Most states do expedite pregnancy cases but it's not required.

Do you know what hospital you'll be delivering at? Some hospitals have programs to help woman acquire insurance. They'll act as your representative and do the application for you. They also pre register you.

@sawyersmom, is that possible? Because when I was in Florida before I had insurance and then I moved here to Pittsburgh I had to cancel my Florida insurance and start over here with welfare
