Who has used exclusive breastfeeding as their form of birth control and has it worked for you ?

I just feel so bad lol

@jasholbert, I do that with him too 😹 There's many many days I don't want to but he does and after awhile I just nod and say yes lol

I completely feel you! I want another kid just not yet and I just sorta let him have it, even if I enjoy it 😂 he's like "are you enjoying it?" And I'm like uhhh yea I guess lol.

@jasholbert, nor am I that interested, it's more so my SO who is more of a needy man when if comes to that. I'll just have to wait to have sex so I can get everything under control. We want another kid but just not now for many reasons. More than likely I'm going to take the pill to cut anything off that may be going on.

I don't use anything except condoms and I'm trying to work on Natural family planning. Right it's seeming like I'm ovulating a week late, so I go unprotected right after my period and then use condoms the rest of the time. But I'm not super interested anyways lol.

@jasholbert, I'm not taking a birth control because it decreases milk supply. I plan to start an all progesterone pill after 3 months. I just want to be able to breast feed my son till at least 6 months

Likely then since he still has some stretches you shouldn't use just breastfeeding then lol.

@jasholbert, Thank you 😊 And I figured I could still ovulate. I feed my son every 1 hour and a half. I only go 3 hours if he's sleeping and doesn't wake up. He won't take a paci either he hates them lol

You can ovulate without your period.

According to kellymom, the only way it works is if baby eats every 2 hours in the day and night, doesn't have solids and never uses a paci or anything else. And then I still wouldn't trust it.

Mine is almost going to be 2 months old here soon and my SO and I had sex the other night and we think he finished inside of me so now we're concerned. I haven't started my period yet either. Have you and your SO had sex since you gave birth to you son? I'm freaking out because I'm not ready for another child yet @domsmama96

Lol my son is almost 9 months and we're okay so far, but my period hasn't ever came back either sooo idk if that has anything to do with it
