My daughter's grandma is Chilean and she was telling me that in Chile when babies turn 3 months they give them bits of food so they can get used to the taste and not become picky. She was also saying how she was going to buy my daughter baby cereal so she can start eating that and not drink so much. Isn't 3 months to early ? Or am I wrong ?
Ya I'm not doing rice with this one. I wish I would have known this with Patrick. I didn't see this until he was like 9 months
@mommysbabies, oh no I'm sorry he's going through that 😣 poor baby. But thank you for your input, i hope she doesn't do it behind my back lol
We did it at four months with my son because dr said to because he was always hungry and he is having tummy issues and I can't help but wonder if we should have waited till 6 months
@kambam, @ecahanes, thanks ladies. I had a feeling it was way too early. Now I need to find a way to tell her without offending her 😶
When I started Patrick I only did it once a day and still gave him a bottle
Its too early, yes. Of she's breastfed they get different tastes through milk. If not she can play with tastes of real food around 6m. Cereal is not food.
I had a dr okay to give my son rice cereal in his bottle but it's because he's extremely colic and was ALWAYS hungry no matter what i did. But he only gets it twice a day@moonslugg
