I'm here to tell you this is absolutely true. I just had my first son and my heartburn was so bad I was spitting up in my sleep. It was the worst. I read the "myth" and my baby came or with a head full of hair. All the nurses and doctors said it's actually not a myth. Google it.

My heart burn was terrible. Toward the end nothing would control mine either. I remember being in labor with this awful acid reflux, went away after I gave birth. And my son still doesn't have much hair at 9 months! What helped with my heartburn was sitting up after meals and not eating right before bed. The heartburn wasn't as bad but it was still there. The only true relief is giving birth. Hope that helps Mom!
