Question:
Who had progesterone prescribed to them from the beginning of your pregnancy? The pharmacist that was working recommended for me not to take it cause it's side effects can cause birth defects to my unborn baby. Can anyone tell me if they had a problem using it? Did your baby come out fine? I'm asking y'all since I can't speak with my ob at this moment.

I was prescribed it until i reaxhed 10 weeks to prevent miscarriage from my fertility surgeon who did my tubal reversal
I took the progesterone Suppositories nightly and the makenna shots weekly. Suppositories are to help your cervix length and the shits are to prevent pre term labor. I started them at 18 weeks and my baby boy is fine and right on track with all his milestones.
& I started taking it so it can thicken up my cervix not because my levels were low
My ob told me it was ok, but now that the pharmacist told me its a bad idea to be taking it while pregnant because it causes birth defects makes me feel horrible ! @vikki655

I'm taking 1 200 mg capsules a night since I was 5 weeks pregnant. I am now 18 weeks. Were your results of miscarrying because the progesterone? @vikki655
I was never told that. I had to take It as my levels were low. I took it from 6 weeks until 12 weeks. My baby is perfectly healthy and fine. She's growing as expected
