So my sister thinks my daughter is old enough to get out of pull ups I told her that my daughter is potty trained it's just she likes to drink at night in her sleep and I only put the pull ups on her at night. And beside I don't like taking advice from my sister anyway. So I ask you mom what is the best way to take my daughter's cup away from her and keep her from drinking so much at night?
@ccanela26 o wow. Didn't know the school system there was like that and that's where I'm originally from
@maemae yeah I will try something else and trust me the way these school system here in SC with losing money I'm homeschooling her
Keep trying different things until you've exhausted your thoughts. If all else fails cup it is
Try finding another way that she could be comforted. Maybe letting her get a new blanket of her choice and see if that's comforting. She'll be going to school soon and there's no sippy cups there. Remember u are her parent and no one else. If it concerns u than do something about it. Just because your mom doesn't want to hear her cry must mean mommas gonna always be around.
@maemae my mom don't like hearing her cry she tells me I shouldn't be taking her cup from her it's like her "security blanket" she had it since she was 9months so I think I'm gonna go with @jjsmommyjj711 on this one and just wait it out til she gets tired of it. The cup isn't messing up her teeth so I don't see anything wrong with letting her keep it for a lil while longer. It puts her to sleep and keeps her asleep
For me I stopped the drinking after 8 maybe 9 depending on how the day went and after that it was tough love. I might let u sip what's in my cup but other than that the answer is no. And if u keep up the fuss because I won't give u anymore, I will certainly give u a reason to cry
It's your daughter you do what you see fit if she really likes/needs her water at night and still pees sometimes then keep the pull ups on but eventually she won't need them
@jjsmommyjj711 yeah she goes to the potty til she goes to sleep.
Slowly start putting less and less water in it and eventually she won't need it as much she's still little at least it's not an all day thing
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
@maemae yeah the money just got bad this year and it's been alot of budget cuts
