We're all adults here . . But ummmm when can I have a beer ? Baby is one week and 2 days. I had sutures as well due to ripping during birth. Should I wait ?

It shouldn't. Can always call your doctor and ask if it's okay to have a few drinks.
I've had stitches and my doc never told me to stay way from certain food so I'm sure it'll be fine lol. @nani720,

I read recently that a dark beer is good for milk supply. And if you just have one right after you feed/pump should be ok from what I've read.
Even if you're breastfeeding a beer right now is ok. They say it's good for your milk supply.
Have that beer!
