Ladies, my daughter has a pretty big attitude, and when she gets upset it's pretty bad, and if my face is close to her when she has her meltdown, she'll slap me across the face, I'm not sure where she got the slapping from, and it actually hurts. How can I get her to stop doing this? I DON'T SPANK, I've told her no several times but she still continues to hit me when she's mad. 🙄 and I'm not even sure to how to go about time outs, she's only 14 months.

My son is 18 months and just started time out. Pick a chair or small corner. We have a chair. Use the same chair in the same spot all the time. He likes to slap his dad in the head and hes bald so it hurts lol or he'll throw stuff at us. We pop his hand hard but not really hard and put him on time out just for a minute or 2. He'll cry but hey who wouldn't lol if he gets up we just sit him back down. When he stops crying or whining we'll tell him say sorry and have him kiss where he hit. The first few times we have to sit in front of him to make sure he doesn't get up. Once their use to it ita best to walk away and let them cry until their done. You standing there will make them whine to get up even more. If they get up while crying you sit them back down and tell them no
