How old were your babies before you took them into a pool? We have a little cheap Walmart one we got for Noah, he's 2 months old. I don't see a problem with it, but I'm also a pretty chill parent.

@lovelily, that's what I do. I didn't let it sit in the sun the first time and my sos lips were turning blue! lol I felt so bad but he didn't seem to mind very much

@megmalone625, nope! I actually just learned this! I put it on Brynn the other day and then got all worried! The chemicals can burn them. (Now I'm gonna make my own because that scared me and they both have sensitive skin)

You can always put the baby in a small kiddie pool in the shade. I actually fill the pool up with about 3 inches of water and let it sit in the sun for an hour to warm up, then move it to the shade. As long as you are with the baby it's okay. I'm a chill parent, too. 😄

I put Brynn in Levi's pool and she loves it. Just make sure he's covered. No sunscreen before 6 months.
