My baby is almost 8 weeks old and my damn family shoved icing in her mouth last night 😡then goes "what are you going to do about it? You don't scare me." Are you for real kidding me right now!? NO! People really piss me off doing whatever they please to my child after I strictly told them not to. MY child. MY rules. STOP!!
@craft.brooke.e I would've left. Got up and f-ing left. That's ridiculous and out of control. Wow I'm mad just thinking about it. I'm sorry that happened to you
I'm very thankful she didn't choke on it either time because they did it so fast with so much while she was laying down
@rmreed, yeah, they got a huge glob and shoved it in her mouth. Not once but twice as if they're too deaf to hear me tell them to stop the first time. I rushed across the room and got as much out of her mouth as I could both times. Once when I got up to get a diaper then the second when I got up to throw the dirty one away.
@nowmrspost, they're going to cause me to distance myself and my daughter from them. Which will really make me mad because I want her to be very family oriented and enjoy family time. There is a time for all that crap and they're like forcing my baby to grow up too fast. Only 7 weeks old. She does not at all need sugar. Or anything besides her formula
@nowmrspost, yeah, I'm pretty upset! Then mind you my baby threw up after that 😡after I had her not throwing up for 2 weeks. And I'm a single mommy doing it on my own so I don't even have anyone to back me up besides myself. It's so frustrating and I'm really scared they will feed her something stupid while I'm at work
@ellieinmybelly, right! Like, I carried this child, this child was attached to my body for 9 months, this Child got pushed out of my body, I take care of her, if anything happens I'm responsible. So, cool if that's what they did to their child. But now it's my turn to do for my child. They had their time to do whatever with their own. I hate when people act like every baby is the same. Just because their baby was fine doesn't mean mine will be. I am the one to decide to let her try new things. And don't want her trying anything when I'm not around so if something does happen I'm not accused of harming my child or letting harm happen. As a mother it is our job to protect our children. Family needs to understand that.
@momof3cuties, family does not know how to let moms mother. They act like it's up to them to do what they want and make decisions. Mothers are the ones to do the mothering. I often feel that my family tries to outrule me. I like don't even want my child around anyone anymore. No one can listen. Does it take me yelling at them? They can tell I'm frustrated and just keep on.
My mom and husbands aunt did that to my youngest. After I made it clear not too. I took my child and went to the living room. My father in law was giving our 6 year old chocolate on ice cream and I said that will be enough. He kept on and his sister opened her fat mouth and once again another party was ruined
@ellieinmybelly, exactly! They're babies! They do not need all that sugar. Their bodies don't work the same way to digest and they don't understand that. They were like "I did it all the time to my kids. She likes it!" She's a baby, she'd eat dirt if you put it in her mouth. Ugh! This child is mine. I don't want her to have anything besides formula because she has digestion issues to begin with. So, I'm ready to really go off. I have to go back to work any day now and I can't trust that they'll listen to any of my care instructions for her. It really worries and stresses me. Especially if something happens and I'm not there.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
@rmreed, the sad thing is that I couldn't leave or would have. I'm a single mommy and have to live with my grandma. I gave all my money to my boyfriend while I was on maternity leave to pay bills. So I'm forced to live here and deal with family all the time
