Has anyone on here been diagnosed with endometriosis? If so what are your symptoms? I have been on my period going on 9 weeks now witch is very abnormal, and the pain is getting to where it is unbearable throughout the day, and my OB keeps telling me it's normal and not to worry about it, I had a different OB prior to getting pregnant but had to change bc of my insurance and I had laparoscopic surgery planned to find out if I had endometriosis and when I went in to schedule the surgery I had found out I was pregnant with my youngest son, and now that I'm not pregnant I'm thinking about going back to my old OB and talking to her bc she is the one who recommended I do the surgery to rule out endometriosis. I just need to get this figured out, I can't live in this kind of pain everyday /:

@krider_randi lol. I hope you get your pain under control bc being in pain is awful! I know because I have chronic pain and it sucks!

I have had ovarian cysts before and this pain is about that bad but every time I go to the er they can't seem to see anything wroung on a sono @littlelamb17,

Possibly, but I had this same pain before I got pregnant witch makes me think there is more too it, but I'm definitely probably gonna get it removed and get back on the pill either that or get my tubes tied bc I got pregnant with my first son on the pill and I don't wanna chance that, I love my boys but 2 is enough haha @ilovemy2daughters,

@krider_randi if I were you I would get it removed asap maybe that's what is causing the pain.

I had a grapefruit size cyst on my left overy that caused a lot of problems like the ones you are describing

I have only had it for a month and the pain has been worse since I've gotten it @ilovemy2daughters,

@krider_randi oh I see. Well I really hope you can get it under control. My body Couldn't take the iud with Endometriosis so I got it removed just 2 weeks after I got it.

And they didn't do a sono, all they did was a Ct scan to check my iud

No all they said was my hormones are messed up and called my OB and she told them to give me a hormone medicine @ilovemy2daughters,

Did they mention PID? That's crazy that the er gave you a hormone med usually they tell you to see your ob in a couple of days for a follow up.

I have the skyla iud birth control, I went to the er a few days ago bc I was in o much pain and lol they did was check to see if my iud was in the right spot bc they just told me my hormones were messed up and sent me home on a hormone medication that I have taken before and has done nothing @ilovemy2daughters,

@krider_randi yeah you should definitely go to an ob that cared. My dr is awesome! I'm on bc pills to help control the pains but I started a injection treatment that doesn't effect you if you want to have more kids. I got scraped during that surgery. I know what you mean, that year was horrible! Constantly going to the er until they told me my diagnosis and my ob checked it out.

That's exactly how I'm feeling!! I'm have such bad pains throughout the day that I'm haveing to crouch down on the floor and I cry bc I hurt so bad /: and I'm so tired of having to make emergency room trips for them to tell me they can't find anything wrong @ilovemy2daughters,

Me!!! Crazy that you say that because today is a horrible Endometriosis day for me! ! I had that surgery in 2013. My Symptoms: horrible pain in lower abd down to vag, I literally get in the fetal position. You can get the symptoms during your period or even when you're not in it. It's so hard to pee! I let a little bit our at a time!
