It's really hard to get my son to burp after feedings. He's formula fed , liquid similac advance. Any thing I can do to help him burp :(

So a trick I learned in the NICU is kind of hard to explain....but you hold him sitting up right in your lap, on hand on his chest , like you are going to pay his back. But take your other hand and hold his back, using your fingers to keep his head stable kind of move him in a circle from, side back, side front. It pretty much worked every time.

I’m at my wits end. Baby cries all day long. I haven’t eaten in almost 24 hours, no sleep, etc. nothing works. I’ve tried warm bath, warming bottle before feeding, burping 3 or more times, massaging tummy, and leg bicycling. It’s only after he eats. I thought I was over feeding so I decreased his milk intake by an ounce. Still the same thing. He poops at least once a day so that’s not an issue. His doctor doesn’t have anything open until January. I don’t know what to do at this point. I’m beyon...

OMG I don't know what my daughter did but her furby turned evil! I spent 3 hours today making that stupid thing nice again....and now it's a man that farts and burps! It used to be a girl! WTF??? come back CoCo!!!!!!
Yeah in the nicu when he was there I noticed how they would burp him. So I do hold him that way but I only pat his back. I'm gonna try the movement as well to see if it helps :( cause my poor baby is so uncomfortable sometimes ! @dmm1976, thanks a lot.
