@barnold only time i leave her is if i need to go in kitchen or upstairs or on my driving lesson but whats bothered me most is bedtime.. she used to go to bed and sleep all way through and now shes wakinh up screaming 2 or 3 times a night i thought there was something up with her like she was ill or something but when i come into room shes ok and settles back down i just dont want her getting used to me being there all time.. do i just leave her to cry it out or keep going back in? X

It's quite common & normal for babies & young children to go through clingy phases. I've found with my boys it would be a week or so. I just try to comfort them but also stick to normallity. If something needs to be done I still get it done. Just maybe space things out a bit more. I'd bring them in the room with me. Or stop to comfort them inbetween doing whatever it is in doing to reassure them I'm still here. And obviously giving them lots of attention when I'm not doing other boring things! Lol

@graciesmummy Ethan went through this at 7 months old.. Not gona lie, was horrendous for a good 3/4 weeks but ur little one may be different.. Just carry on as you usually do and when you need to leave them be happy and positive about it even when they are screaming.. Its difficult but you will get through it.. Ethan now waves bye to me when i leave the room even if im just going in kitchen lol x
