Okay ladies my daughter is one years old. I want to teach her how to swim and I seen these videos where the parents just let there babies try to catch something in the water and than the baby tries to get it but than the baby just goes face first and everything. That kind of scares me , okay ladies what should I do?

My son went swimming last week for the first time. Hold her for a bit in the water with you. Bc shes gonna be scared regardless. Dont let her go. Slowly show her water is okay, show her to splash, get her hair wet. As if its a bath. Once she seems comfortable, hold her under her arms away from you. Let her get a feel of kicking. You have to slooowly introduce it.
Look into mommy baby swimming classes. Thats your best step
