I've been STRUGGLING getting this breastfeeding thing down and I feel defeated. My baby is STILL losing weight!! :( he was born at 7#9 and dropped to 6#14. I was able to get him back up to 7#6 but now, he's back down to 7#3. Doctor said I have to supplement after every feed...
when I took him to the lactation consultant today and he just SCREAMED the whole time on the breast. So frustrated, like there was nothing in there. I felt horrible. Have I been starving my baby this whole time?! So I was crying. We got home and I gave him a bottle of pumped breast milk and made sure he got a FULL feed. Now it's time for him to eat again, and again when I put him to the breast he's crying and pulling off. So I assumed that my milk supply is just gone. So I made him a bottle and came in here and milk is definitely coming out!! So why would he be acting that way on the breast?? What do I do? What's going on? Someone help me please 😭😰❤️

@megsandbabes, For sure! It's a vicious cycle that will just leave you both stressed and disappointed. Try to get yourself as relaxed as possible. For me it was playing rain white noise in dimmer light. Your baby will feed off of your energy so breathe slow and let your shoulders relax.
Make use of pillows for both you and the kiddy. Your SO can help you espress so you can concentrate on holding your LO for their maximum comfortability. Hope that helps!
