Not picking him up when he needs me would destroy me! I'm so glad we have room for the stroller adventures 😂

Yeah he rather play on his own lol but now that he's older it's harder to get him to be more independent. He wants me to be next to him or he will scream like I'm beating him until I go back to him 🤦🏻‍♀️

@brianna_ then that's not bad. Mine screamed bloody murder for 10 mins and then stop when he sees I'm not going to pick him up.

@star_wars_freak_2010, see when my sons is extremely milk drunk I can sit him down and he will sleep but most of the time he starts moving around when I lay him down

I had a csection so I actually held mine a lot because it was easier for me. As I healed I slowly started putting her in a bassinet for naps and eventually night time. She now sleeps in a crib all night in her own room and only wakes up once to eat.

@imara219, see my son isn't a crier, he just grunts and moves around a lot but every time I try and put him down even when he's asleep he wakes up

@canaryv, oh wow, never heard of a baby that didn't wanna be held. My daughter is like that now but she's 1

Yeah, my mom joked that i spoiled my newborn after 7 days. He got used to me holding him while he drifted off to sleep. Needless to say we are breaking that habit now because he started to holler whenever we went to put him down.

Lol , i got use to it . I'll put him to sleep on me then move him over & keep patting his back . Now he's almost 6 (08/06) & I still have to rub or pat his back in order for him to sleep

My son is a weirdo. He always preferred to lay down to rest lol he gets frustrated when being held too long 🤷🏻‍♀️

@rmreed, I don't even have enough space for all that 😅 but 4 months of holding 😅😅😅😅. I'd be bat shit crazy 😂 my daughter was like that and I was so sleep deprived I started sleeping while sitting up

Yep , I did that too my son & up until he was 3 he couldn't go to sleep w/out me holding him. My daughter the same way .

I'm also going nuts and have been, he pops awake if I set him down. I push him in his stroller in the house and he likes that for a little while

Mhm! Totally normal...mine did and are doing the same thing. Just like the warmth and comfort. No such thing as spoiling a baby!

I def don't mind holding him but I just want don't want it to turn into a habit that later on he doesn't sleep anywhere but in my arms because eventually I will go stir crazy 😅 but good to know @beebaby, @cubanese,

He does it to others too so maybe the warmth of another person is soothing too
