My son was sleeping through the night and now he wakes up twice thru the night drinks two bottles at night any suggestions? He goes to sleep at 8 pm every night.
And also at my last wic appointment and they have me a feeding Pamlet that stated it was OK to give water throughout the day between snacks & meals to ensure they are getting full & cuts down on bottles/breastfeeding because they are getting older & it takes more to fill them up .
Once your baby is 6 months old, it's okay to give him sips of water when he's thirsty. Don't overdo it, though, or you might give him a tummy ache or make him too full to eat well.
After his first birthday, when your baby's eating solids and drinking whole milk, you can let him drink as much water as he likes.

Well my son drinks water & his pediatrician says its okay . to each its own 🤗
Growth spurt! And no, in fact its not recommended for babies to have water until 1 year. All they need is breast milk/formula. 😆
@drusky1993 No babies should not have water until the age of one, eating solids, and is drinking whole milk. He's most likely going through a growth spurt, which most babies do around 9 or 10 months. It will pass.
My comment was towards the timing of giving a child water not to the statement of giving her child a bottle of water .
