Ok. Anyone who took a 1 year old abroad, what was the flight like? 😩 the three of use are going away next month with some family friends, my dad and my nan. We're looking at a 12 hour flight and I've no idea how I'm supposed to keep a hyperactive, tantrum throwing, devil spawned 1 year old entertained!

12 hours it's too much for this age. We have flew 5 hours when my baby was 10m and it wasn't so nice. We was so tired!

My hubby took our 1year old on a 9hour flight x it wasn't that bad x
just take afew snacks x a tablet or phone with cartoons and games he likes x his favourite toy or too x
when ur in the air just walk him up n down the plane x also make sure u tire him out a little b4 u go on the plane x that way he will sleep afew hours x
oh remember to take calpol in ur hand luggage just incase x

@xxxzenixxx, thanks chick. Yeah he's just at that point where he loves to be up and about and is obsessed with strangers 🙄 I just worry I'm gonna be the one that has the kid that everybody wishes would shut up 😂 he is the devils spawn haha xx

I'm taking my boy on a 24 hour flight to Australia in July! He'll be 10 months at the time so I've no clue what it'll be like 😂 although I've heard to make sure they're drinking a bottle or using a dummy when the planes taking off so their ears won't pop. Good luck! x

It sounds like there's a few of you so at least you will have help. I couldn't imagine taking my lo on 12 hour flight. Hopefully they put a good Disney film on. Xx

@rachaellw, definitely glad there will be a few of us! We get our own tv screen in the headrest but he's not really in to tv which is a pain! I'm dreading the flight but at least it's not an every day thing x
