Okay mommas it's been a while but I need help. I asked my mother in law and she said it's probably a mild reaction from the glue from the sticker but it's make me nervous. We went to the library today and the librarian gave our daughter a sticker. I put it on her cheek thinking it would be fine. It's a child's sticker after all but when I tried to pull it off about an hour and a half later she started whining as I tried so I figured just snatch it off like a bandaid. Now just to keep in mind my child is a trooper she hardly ever cries if she gets hurt she barely cries with her vaccines. So why is it that she screamed bloody murder when I pulled the sticker off and why the hell is it still red 7 hours after I pull it off?! What should i do?!

I'm no doctor and would definitely recommend that you call yours if you're super worried. With that said, I have an allergy to adhesive and I look like this from stickers and tape.

My allergy doesn't itch, hurt, or do anything life threatening to me, it just looks like this for about 12-24 hours depending on how long the adhesive was on my skin. Still call your doctor. Just thought I would share what it looks like to me.

Babies have really delicate skin and you probably just pulled a thin layer of skin off with the sticker... my Dr told me not to even put a bandaid on a baby's face because it will pull skin off. I would just put some antibacterial ointment on it and it will heal:)
