Okay I need help .. I never been on birth control or anything .. it took my over a year to get pregnant with my son .. now I know I will be more fertile I need help on choosing the best method to prevent pregnancy ... I hear stories BC making u gain weight , the shot sucks , etc !! So I'm like lost ... I was leaning towards the Nuva ring .. but idk how it exactly works and how effective. So ladies thoughts ? Lol 😂🤷🏼♀️

I had the pills before. The problem i had with them was that i gained alot of weight but it reduced my appitite so i was hardly eating. Then it made my endometerosis worse.
Im gonna try the patch this time. It only has a 91% prevention rate compared to the others. Im looking at it though bc the shot made my mom bleed the whole 3 months of the dosage. Since i have endo the pain gets worse the more i bleed then on top of that the more i bleed the more common it is for my body to make cysts on my overies. So im not gonna risk it. No implants for me bc ive heard of some cases where if you get pregnant while you have it that it can turn into an etopic or tuble pregnancy. The ring up in you...cant do that bc the thought of something fake like that being inside that area is scary, gross, and uncomfortable to me.
Anyway i chose to try the patch bc everyone ive talked to says your body adjusts to it faster and you bleed less. Which in my case is a good thing.

Everyone's body reacts different to the different BC methods, I was on the mirena and it did me no good but I know people like my cousin whose had it for 15years and works great on her (every five years you get a new one) than I had the depo and made me super skinny, than I had the pills and worked great on me until I forgot to take one lol but like I said everyone is different, just go with what you think is best and if you don't like it there's always the option to change methods.
Don't use the depo I was skinny before and I gain so much weight -.- I didn't get my period as well I use also the nexplanon and that shit I don't really like as much took it out in 3 week . And I have the nuvaring and it's so good u leave it in for 3 week the 4 week u take it off and u get ur period the 4 week and I got pregnant fast from that and I had that birth control for 5 year am go back to that after I give birth
Nuva ring sucks imo. If you dont take it out before you take a crap it will pop out into the toilet. Then they tell you to rinse it and stick it back in. No thanks
I took the pill after my first, i kept forgetting to take it so i made an appointment to get the shot and ended up pregnant! My sister has the t thing they stick in your uterus i forgot what the name is but she says you get no period after 6 months and its good for 5 years that could be a good option
