HELP??¿¿ they told me i cant drink nothing after midnight it is now 2:44am but does that mean i can take a sip of water. because im dying to thirst???

They don't want you to have water in case you have to have surgery that way if you vomit your stomach is empty and lessen your chances of aspirating (it going into your lungs and possibly causing pneumonia)

I just went and read that many women said they could have water to drink before induction and they said that every dr is different. But they all survived so I hope that helps your anxiety 😸

For csection? Yes you have a sip or two of water but don't guzzle a couple of glass fulls.
