I hate fighting with my daughter to lay down for bed time, naps, anything..She fights it thinking she is going to miss something..No matter what I do read, let her watch something, music, anything she cries an screams an then some times will laugh when I get up to lay her down or calm her down ugh she is only 1...

@ax2momma, it's hard but it's good for you both. She can sleep and you can rest too. I read some books before nap time, but in another room so going to crib is just one fast stop and not a game. It's sad to listen them cry, but it's the easiest way to do it.

The easiest thing to do is just put her down in the crib, not say anything and walk out. Gone cry max 20 minutes first time and fall a sleep, after getting use to probably gone cry max 5 minutes. Too much entertaining gives them idea, that they can manipulate with you and never have to go sleep. I have been nanny over 5 years and watched all sorts of kids.

Baby won't bear weight on leg I have a walking 10 month old and she has been extra fussy yesterday and today. Today I noticed she didn't really want to crawl, she would just cry until I came and picked her up. After I fed her, I tried setting her down to play with her big sister and she just started crying and wouldn't put any weight on her left leg. She will put weight down on her right leg but then just cries until you pick her back up. I thought maybe she just didn't want to be put down (as baby's often do). I tried a few more times over the next 30 minutes and she still won't put any weight on it. I had a meeting (I work from home), so I took her upstairs to my husband. She is now playing with her siblings and happy, but he text me (from upstairs) and says she still won't put weight on it. She is just sitting there playing.
I love how I repeatedly told my father in law not to let my daughter root through the toy box because she doesn’t want anything out of it anyway and he keeps picking her up and taking her to the toy box no matter how many times I tell her no and tell him she doesn’t even want anything out of there anyway. At first I told him “only let her get one toy” so she picks one up and he is still holding her over the toy box then tries to put her over the baby gate so she can grab more. I’m sorry but you aren’t the one that has to pick up all these toys. You aren’t the one who has to put them back. He never picks up toys. Everyone wants to get the toys out for her out no one ever wants to help me pick them back up. The fact that I said not to let her get anything out of the box more than 5 times really pisses me off. You may be her grandparent but you aren’t her parent. So now I have mass toys to pic up on top of the toys she already had out from this morning
FTM problems... So I've made it pretty clear that I want to buy my daughter her fist Halloween costume. Her babysitter/nanny keeps saying she wanted to make her one. I told her yesterday that I wanted to find her something that my SO and I could dress up as a family. So I told her I am going to get it. She just text me and said 'not trying to step on your toes but I bought her two costumes'. She does this all the time. Anytime I want to do the "first" things with her she immediately does it. It's making me sad. Like I wish I could quit my job and be home with her.
I’m so tired but I can’t sleep. Every time I lay the baby down he wakes up after like 10 minutes. 😴

@sigrit.smith12 I agree. I know my husband always gives into her. I try soo hard not to most the time.. I'm trying to get him to the same
