I agree completely! With both my pregnancies I was a working mom and I'll never forget that with my first job I had to go through so much and I missed out on a lot with my son when he was born so that I could hold down a job to support him. What's even more messed up is the current admin is trying to extend maternity rights for moms but they want to take away Medicaid and other public assistance. So.. basically they're working on getting moms to stay home longer with their babies with more time off but they're gonna take away any assistance that is available to them to be able to support their families. 🤔 not sure how that's going to work for most.
